Convicted Holocaust-denier David Irving and BNP leader Nick Griffin, who has a conviction for inciting racial hatred, have been invited to address Oxford Union's free speech forum. Unite Against Fascism and Oxford University Students Union are campaigning to stop fascists being given a platform. We must ensure that we replicate the successful campaign which stopped Nick Griffin speaking at Bath University this May. The Oxford Union should not be providing a platform for fascist British National Party (BNP) leader Nick Griffin and Holocaust denier David Irving in the Free Speech Forum on Monday 26 November. Unite Against Fascism are calling the Oxford Union to rescind the invitations to Griffin and Irving and replace them with speakers that support freedom of speech. There is a world of difference between defending free speech and choosing to provide a platform for fascists. Show your support and say no to fascists in Oxford by attending UAF's rally around Oxford Town Hall on Tuesday 20th November at 7.30pm and Demonstration on the 26th outside the Oxford Union at 7pm.

On November 2nd Club NME in Luton will be collaborating with LMHR to bring you the hottest new acts, with headliners Examples, as well as providing LMHR/NME CD sleeves, posters, prize giveaways and signup sheets for people to get involved with LMHR.

On Friday 5th October DJs, musicians and anti-racist campaigners in Hertfordshire will come together to launch a new campaign for Hertfordshire: Love Music Hate Racism. Kicking off with an all-star line up, the launch party for the new campaign will be held at The Phoenix in Hitchin, entry fee will be £4. East Kent LMHR will be holding the first anti racist music festival in Whitstable on the beach on Sunday September 16th. The event starts at midday to 8pm with a fantastic line up of punk and ska music.

This Sunday, September 9th, will see a very special joint LMHR/UAF event, taking place as part of the social events for this year's Trades Union Congress. The event will feature Get Cape Wear Cape Fly playing live, as well as Specials legend Jerry Dammers DJing, and another liver performance from the excellent Nu-MCs. Trade union leaders and campaigners will be speaking briefly between the acts to outline the UAF & LMHR campaigns to stop the fascist BNP around next year's Greater London Assembly and local council elections. The event is taking place at Brighton's Revenge club. Entry is free to TUC delegates, or by donation to everyone else.

Love Music Hate Racism are supporting the Ipswich RESPECT Festival. This is the 4th annual festival. The main focus of this year’s Festival will be to unite our Community, challenge all forms of prejudice and encourage the reporting of “Hate Crime”.

On Saturday 17th February, UAF and LMHR are holding an important national conference. The British National Party (BNP) is receiving the highest levels of support for a fascist party in British history. In recent years its vote has increased in a context of rising racism, Islamophobia and attacks on multiculturalism. At the same time there has been much resistance from UAF marches and rallies to the hundreds of LMHR gigs and events up and down the country. We urge everyone from across the UK who wants to get involved in the fight against racism and fascism this year to come down to London on Feb 17th to listen, debate and link up with other anti-fascists.
