We have been informed that the BNP is holding a public meeting in Southey in Sheffield on Wednesday 16th July at 7pm. We urge supporters of the campaign to stop the BNP to join our peaceful protest. Please assemble at 6pm on Herries Road South opposite Hillsborough football stadium at the junction of Rawson Spring Road. On November 8th Club NME in Sheffield will be collaborating with LMHR to bring you the hot new acts, with headliners Look See Proof, as well as providing LMHR/NME CD sleeves, posters, prize giveaways and signup sheets for people to get involved with LMHR.

On 30 April 2006, Love Music Hate Racism is to launch in Sheffield. LMHR seeks to use the positive energy of Sheffield’s vibrant music scene, as a real life, working example, of flourishing multiculturalism. Our music is living testimony to the fact that cultures can and do mix. It unites us and gives us strength, and offers a vibrant celebration of our multicultural and multiracial society. Racism seeks only to divide and weaken us.

Both Universities Afro Caribbean Societies, in conjunction with the JuJu club offers you a night of unity through music. A chance to come together and express our strength against those seeking to divide and weaken our communities with racism.
