STOKE-ON-TRENT LOVE MUSIC HATE RACISM CARNIVAL

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 12th 2004, 12 noon-8pm
HANLEY FOREST PARK, STOKE-ON-TRENT, STAFFS

It’s the last festival of the summer - a hot sunny day’s forecast, so if you’re in and around the Midlands, North West, or North Wales, why not come down to Stoke for a hot musical line-up and to show your opposition to the presence of the fascist BNP in Stoke and anywhere else.

“LOVE MUSIC HATE RACISM is proud to return to Stoke for a second year
uniting people through music. There are groups like the BNP who are trying
to stir up racism in Stoke but most local people want to get on, and this
Carnival weekend is a chance to celebrate what we have in common - we Love
Music and Hate Racism! We have a wicked line-up featuring top acts from
across the music spectrum - whether you like reggae, indie, hip-hop, punk,
bhangra, garage or all the above there’s something for you. Add to this a
full fairground and dozens of games, workshops and attractions and you’ve
got a brilliant day out for music lovers, families, and everybody”
