In recent months we’ve had loads of emails and calls from people wanting to get involved in the North East. From Durham to Newcastle, Sunderland to Darlington there are loads of musicians, music fans, organisations and people who want We thought it might be an idea to try to introduce those of you who don’t already know each other so you can support one another’s events and activities, so …
On Saturday 13th January at 2pm, we’re hosting a LMHR get-together at Northumbria University Students Union, 2 Sandyford Road Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 8SB.
We’ll be screening the excellent LMHR DVD “Who Shot the Sheriff?” narrated by Ms Dynamite and featuring The Clash, The Specials, Hard-Fi, the Libertines, Roll Deep and many more, and there’ll be LMHR leaflets, posters, badges and stuff available. A LMHR campaign worker will be on hand to offer advice and answer your questions, and we hope to have one or two other guest speakers too. Above all though there’ll be other people like you who want to stand up against racism and fascism. Be there!
