STUNNING NIGHT CELEBRATES ROCK AGAINST RACISM
Last Thursday’s RAR 30 Years Celebration event was a spectacular success. Hundreds packed into the Hackney Empire and were thoroughly entertained and inspired by stunning sets throughout from The Toy Guns, Stylo G & Lil’ Rascals, Carol Grimes, Drew McConnell/The View/Ed Larrikin/Ali Love, Bobby Kray & Denis Bovell, Manga, Jammer, Tom Robinson and a rapturous finale from Misty in Roots.
Tribute was paid to the massive achievement of campaigners, bands and music fans that helped stop the fascists in the ’70s, and a determination signalled by all to halt the BNP today.
