HARD-FI, JAY SEAN & POLY STYRENE JOIN CARNIVAL BILL

Staines' finest rebel rockers HARD-FI will join UK R&B superstar JAY SEAN on stage one, while POLY STYRENE of X-Ray Spex - who opened the 1978 Carnival - will be performing one or two of the the punk legends' best-known songs in a one-off collaboration with one of the other bands on the bill. Other acts confirmed already include Patrick Wolf, Roll Deep, Radio 1 DJ Nihal, Bashy, The Paddingtons, Natty and dubstep dons Skream and Benga. Leon Greenman OBE , survivor of the Auschwitz concentration camp and anti fascist campaigner passed away yesterday at the age of 97. He will be sorely missed—and never forgotten.
