For Episode 21 of the #speakupthursday radio show we had the honour of speaking with Yahael Camara-Onono. Yahael is the founder and band leader of Balimaya Project, a 17-piece collective of multi-talented musicians, celebrating West African folklore with modern musical arrangements and sounds. He programmed a playlist of some of his favourite west African songs which were a joy to listen too.
