Episode 30 of #SpeakUpThursday we were joined by co-founder, chief executive and Artistic Director of Jazz re:freshed Justin McKenzie along with musician and Jazz Refreshed Event Producer, Tess Hirst. Jazz re:freshed is a music movement which started back in 2003. In 2021 they continue their tradition of challenging elitism and prejudice within jazz music while putting together world class live shows as well as releasing incredibly fresh and boundary pushing musical artist on their very own record label. Jazz re:freshed is a truly inspirational independent music organisation which has gained international acclaim.
